WASH & STYLE YOUR WIG

Bring your wig to the Waks Wigs salon for a professional wash & style using great quality products and gentle treatment. Our wigs only need to be washed every 6-8 weeks, unless you feel like it needs to be washed more often due to heavy sweating in the summer time.

Gentle heat tools like hot rollers, blow driers and straighteners can be used to style our human hair wigs after allowing time for air-drying. Synthetic wigs don’t need to be styled, only air dried on the foam head stand. Using heat tools on synthetic wigs will reduce the life of the wig.

If you would like to wash your wig at home, a demonstration can be done by appointment in our salon. We’ll show you the best way to wash the wig to maximise its beauty and longevity.

GET YOUR WIG CUT

Human hair wigs can be cut according to your preference. Sometimes, it’s only a matter of shaping the front to suit your face. Other options include creating fringes and layers, shortening the length, and reshaping the edges.With synthetic wigs, we only recommend trimming a fringe, as reshaping, thinning or cutting may damage the fibres and shorten the life of the wig. We have countless styles and lengths if wigs to choose from, so it’s rare for our wig stylist to need to trim at all.
